This main character is insufferable. "Oh boohoo, I'm so fragile, and I always ruin everything, and I barely talk, and I'm so fragile again, and I need everyone to treat me like a baby and not confront me with anything ever because I'm so unstable I just can't deal with hard stuff"
The writing style is so juvenile it feels like a 12-year-old wrote this. The heavy metaphors don't evoke anything but a cringey feeling.
