A Widow’s Tale ended so differently than I thought! Kind of depressing. I’m intrigued by how these stories (including The Mystery of Mrs Blencarrow and Queen Eleanor and Fair Rosamond) are throwing some light on women’s age-old predicaments with bad husbands and bad choices about whom to marry. Very interesting. Curious about the stories to come.

I’m glad Janey and John’s story continues! It’s very enjoyable and interesting.

What a fascinating story “A Story of a Wedding-Tour” is! I loved it. And the next story seems like it may be about a character from it too. Intriguing.

The Strange Adventures of John Percival were indeed strange. But also so wacky and fun! 😂

Finished The Lily and the Thorn novella. Definitely my least favorite in the collection. 😅
