okay i do enjoy how not all deaths get some grand send off, or some noble sacrifice or romance. its very realistic. some times its just two scared and selfish kids doing horrible things and using a belt just to survive.

i think one of the most beautiful and heartbreaking things about hiroki and takako is that he did love her. just not romantically. and somehow, that makes it hurt even more.
