This book continues to amaze me. Just when I think I know where we are going lawrence hits me with such profound and beautiful sadness and passion. Odd I find mysrlf thinking of 100 years of solitude a book I have never been able to finish. I think Marquez wanted to create this sense of passion and depth and magic across the generations but he lacked the depth and subtle beautywe find here. Beauty like a Rainbow.
