I was surprised by how good this book is, given that this is his debut novel. But I probably shouldn't have read this book while watching the new show

Because of the way that I am, I'm only allowed to read spooky stories this month

I was also pleasantly surprised when I first read this! I think it's one of my favourite King books. Is the new show any good?

Yeah same! Definitely in my top 5 King books at this point. And I liked the show but I also read some criticism about it changing too much about the story and I get that but I didn't mind. I guess it depends on how much of a purist you are about adaptations. And if you liked previous Flanagan shows.
