This book is stimulating me on many levels but it highlights the intellectual chauvinism that people with developmental disabilities still face: What can you contribute to society? Can you learn and process things the same way the rest of us do, and if you can't, does that mean you aren't intelligent? This of course is a lesson from the thinking of the Nazi era that persists everywhere still.
