This is the kind of emotion/connection/tension i wanted more of throughout the story. There are still some "cringey" moments throughout but overall this has gotten better in the second half.

This currently has the vibe that makes my skin crawl in an age gap romance - him acting like he knows what is best for her, needs to protect her, and ordering her around despite knowing absolutely nothing about her...and then she just finds him hott ;/
