i don't want this to end yet. i'm hurtling through it and i know that's a mark of a truly great and affecting novel but i really don't want it to be over quite yet. i want to stay here with kai and juniper just a little longer :(

will stop with the updates for a bit after this one. it is dreadful in a good way, this feeling of knowing you will be cracked open by something despite not knowing yet how exactly it will do so. it is equally invigorating to be in it. the novel is tugging Hard at a good handful of deeply personal threads. i missed this desperately from one of my favorite living authors. feeling very grateful. i'll steep in it.

i can actually hear his voice narrating it in my head and im trying not to cry i missed green's fiction so badly and for it to be an adult novel now...oh how we've grown. i'm normal.

i'm so normal expect only normal thoughts and reactions from this long-time john green fan engaging in his debut adult fiction novel i feel so normal about finally having this
