“Until now, my body had belonged to the convenient store”

Makes you think - who are we without our jobs & societal constructs?

“That’s the image of you that pleases them the most!”

Oh the assumptions we make.

“If you’re not yet a fully ledge member of society that it’s get a job and if you’ve got a job, it’s earned more money and if you had more money, let’s get married and have offspring”

They keep referring to humans as animals and talking about how not much has changed since prehistoric times this nobody realizes it and this is a very thought-provoking way to view human society.

“When you do physical labor, you end up being no longer useful when your physical condition deteriorates”

“I’ve become a foreign object” “the normal world has no room for exceptions and always quietly eliminates for an object and anyone who is lacking is disposed of” she immediately thinks she needs to be “cured” and has an epiphany on why her family has always wanted to “fix” her

“our so-called modern society is just an illusion”
