"The Succubus of the Opera" is my favorite story in the collection so far. A brilliantly bizarre monologue.

"She'll Never Leave the Attic" is the most emotionally mature story so far, and quite beautiful, really.

“Monsters You Might Meet at the Office” presents a bestiary that reinforces my commitment to never work in an office environment ever again.

"Cleaning Frenzy" isn't a short story, but the plot summary of a novel I would love to read.

“Clip-Clop” is another, but far less effective “romp.” It reads like the description of a story, pulled far back from any of the characters so it never really felt as though anything was happening or any of the names were attached to people.

Am I about to describe a short story in a book called Dimension of Monsters: Tales of Lovecraft, Horror & the Bizarre" as a lighthearted romp…?
"Blood on the Enchanted Blade" is a lighthearted romp set in the Dreamlands where a simple ogre acquires an enchanted blade and so begins the romp.
Not a story HPL would have written but Mark McLaughlin has brought something fresh (and bloody) to the table. I dig it.
