I need this book to be over. Like I get that it’s covering all of high school but there are just so many instances of the same thing. I keep reading spoilers so I know actual progress is made by the FMC. Like it’s really well written & a very important topic, it’s just too much for me.

Well we’ve made it to senior year. It’s so sad to see how the trauma of rape has affected the FMC. She really needs help. I did spoil the ending for myself but I just want to get there. This is a heavy and difficult listen. But should be required reading.

Listened to some more over lunch and I had to google what happens at the end of the book because it was bothering me so much. I've never done that for a book before! It's good, but feel horrible for what the FMC goes through as she goes through high school.

Listened to some of this while I ate lunch and some of the choices Eden is making are hard to listen to. It’s so sad because it comes from her trauma.

Now in sophomore year. I really wonder what will happen as Eden goes through high school. It’s horrible what happened to her.
