Becky’s Reviews > Wilmington's Lie: The Murderous Coup of 1898 and the Rise of White Supremacy > Status Update

I went into this knowing what it was and what would happen and still I'm sick to my stomach.

White supremacists' inferiority complex is telling. When you have to resort to violence to force the "natural order" into being, it doesn't seem very natural at all. It seems like you know that you deserve the retribution you fear, and now you're just trying terrorism to prevent it. But even deserved, it's imaginary. People just want to live.
