I appreciate the atmosphere and I appreciate the world building but maaaaan. This is tedious. This feels like a book my dad would like (no character work and just 120% ideas and world building).

I still don't understand how this can be SO tightly plotted yet spent like a full page on a very detailed but also very unnecessary sex scene in the first part of this book.
