Baring in mind what this story is famously known for, I'm genuinely surprised that the first time That happened was so deep into the book (a little under halfway). However, I definitely haven't been bored at any point and have been thoroughly entertained by the development of Arnie's obsession and the impact it has had on his life (especially in regards to his relationships with his parents, Dennis & Leigh).

It's been a minute since I read Carrie, looking forward to reading more from King. I'm challenging myself to finish this brick of a horror novel by the end of month.
