I'm not loving this so far. I really was drawn into the story of To Kill a Mockingbird, but thus far the story is written in almost of stream of consciousness that is hard to follow. The transition of Scout's character and almost overly convenient character deaths / exits from TKaM are leaving the story flat. Hopefully the pace will improve as the conflict becomes more apparent.
