I have read the play and am now watching this version and am about 1/2 way through. I will finish tomorrow.

I just watched the assassination of Caesar and Marc Antony’s response. Wow. That was intense. This is an excellent cinematic rendition of the play.

I finished an excellent audiobook with full cast on YouTube. Now I need to watch a production to finish off my plan: study—> read —> listen —> watch

Done with reading the play. Now I will move to a full cast audio interpretation of the play next. A full listening will bring me to 66 percent. Watching the play to 100 percent.

I am in Act 4 of 5, and am reading the play. The language of this play is more straightforward than some of Shakespeare’s other plays. This is also my second reading of the play: but my first was when I was 15 years old. One of the major themes of the play is loyalty. Brutus claims loyalty to Rome, Antony, loyal to Caesar.

I am prepping for my November Shakespeare book club. I have reviewed the plot and characters. I am now reading the play. I will give myself 33 percent read credit for finishing the play; 33 percent read credit for listening to an audio rendition; 33 percent for watching a filmed performance.

The goal is to work through all of Shakespeare’s plays over the next few years.
