telling people that "intuition" is much more valuable than academic research and you should "take the advice of the external authorities with a grain of salt" is such crazy work what the hellllll

all of my annotations are just me arguing with the author in the margins LOL

and this is coming from someone who's writing their undergrad thesis on a review of weight-inclusive/haes interventions ha ha ha ha ha....

the author's scientific studies are a little biased yes (as all studies tend to be) but this is insane, are all pop science/health books so unfairly biased??
