not done reading, but wanted to note that i have painstakingly made it halfway. i was around page 40 yesterday and now nearly to 200. the story is interesting, it’s just written in an excruciatingly stiff way. interesting trigger warnings though

didn’t get where i wanted to (goal was page 315) but i did manage to read 200 pages today which is good progress. will be done with the rest of the 93 pages tomorrow! still a slog but oh well, kinda interesting?
