Picked this up bc it feels appropriate for Halloween as a psychological horror but after reading the introduction, I’m realizing it is also a very appropriate to read this for a plethora of other reasons— the development of AI, the current Paris protests, the rise of trad wives. All of these issues are reflected in an 1818 text! I love Mary Shelley
