Jinshi sees Maomao making perfume with the doctor and is inquisitive as usual. Her package of books also arrived and unfortunately Jinshi and Gaoshun snooped around to see some stuff. This ultimately resulted in novels being the new craze in the palace due to more books in circulation. Maomao is now teaching Xiaolan how to read and write. Jinshi wants the palace literacy rates up.
