deffffinitely felt this way at first too 😅

Yeah it's a very small niggle in the grand scheme of things but also at the same time this is the 4th book for these two so we've had quite a bit of time with them and their romance so I feel a full wedding scene would have been worth it and well earned and nice to see after 3 books with them.

But yeah otherwise I'm loving this so in the grand scheme of things it's not the worst thing, I just really hate this trend of skipping over the actual getting married part with authors like WHY do they think we won't want to see that?! 😭

i definitely agree with you.
she should write that as a bonus and put it on her website. 🫣

i've genuinely been trying to think of reasons why authors would think we wouldn't want to read wedding scenes, especially of beloved characters, or why they wouldn't want to write them and i genuinely can't come up with a single reason...

Oh yeah a bonus scene would definitely make up for it, for sure, at the very least.

And yeah, same! Like we're reading a Romance novel so we're *here* for the ~Romanceee~ so like why is such an important part of our fave couples' romances being left out and just the lead up and/or the reception is shown an a vague description of said wedding? IDGI! Like did they see people complaining or something? I don't get it if people who are reading a Romance novel do complain about that, though.
