I’m not really feeling the “this feels off” when Steed messages, or the scariness of Kier going to this camp to hide… I’m like, yeah she probably wanted to not be found. Not sure I sense the fear the author is trying to create. I like the idea of this book, it’s not yet landing as a good mystery. We will see how it ends.
