Weird book with slow pacing. In the Wikipedia article (I need help remembering characters), the author is quoted that her inspiration was to study why it seems that writing children’s books is not necessarily good for the author’s own children. This book is an exploration of that. Yup. Lots of artistic adults are awfully counter cultural because they’re screwed up…or vice versa.
