You know, these older MM romance books have something kind of addictive to them. They're messy. Over the top. Sometimes even politically incorrect or culturally insensitive but they're so human and flawed and full of life and pathos. Even my own writing is more polished these days. Call me nostalgic or naive but I miss the mess.
