The tradwife selling point feels hamfisted. At best a woman made a decision to old fashioned homestead with her new husband and hates it. Otherwise we're halfway through and almost none of it is about the "horror" plot. It's just long winding pointless flashbacks to her better life in the city and the mundanities of it.
