this book stresses me out and makes me sad
but i really don't like the 2020 chapters. I get it, and I know why they're there, and I think maybe I just don't want to process some of those things that happened six years ago maybe. But also, there's a distance in them that feels much Less than the other two eras.

Ohhh, there's the connection. Maybe I should have twigged it earlier but ohhh there it is. Neat. Now I'm just trying to figure out who Hermann is. I'm thinking Hannah but I'm not sure.
