Are we pulling a Feyre-Rhys pre mating bond situation? She perceives him as an evil tyrant king without any proof. He’s has her healed in her cell and the “brutal” act she keeps referring to is him shoving his finger into her wound - an infected wound. So many SJM parallels lol

Finally. We’re going somewhere. It finally feels like the story is starting and the plot is picking up. So much should have been cut. This book is way too long for what it is

This is so bad. The vulgarity??? Is it supposed to be shocking or cool - because it’s neither. And her comebacks are edgy tumblr humor at best. What are we doing? It’s so cringe and makes her such a try hard. I want to vomit and gauge out my eyeballs.

Hmm not sure if I like the FMC all that much. I understand her self imposed need for justice but that woman can’t prioritize. As someone who’s supposed to be smart, that’s not very intelligent. I like headstrong characters … as long as they’re smart about it too. Think things through and consider the grand scheme of things. Don’t be not headed. It makes you dumb and ill tempered
