Now that we're approaching the end of the novel the pacing is starting to improve and I'm more fond of the direction. I do feel some of the middle was a bit slow and dragging, and like other reviewers said, some details could've been trimmed as I felt they were unnecessary to the pacing/plot. But I am enjoying it more now

I'm finding the pace of this very slow, but I do find both the protagonists (Polly and Agnes) very intriguing. It is probably going to take me longer than I expected to finish this, so it's good I have a library renewal.
