Since I'm almost finished, I looked up one of the three subjects and came across a photo of her as a child. This audiobook is narrated by the author, and a few times during her reading, I could hear her voice break just a little, just the tiniest hitch, like, when I was staring at the photo of this 8-year-old girl.
