“I love you. Eternally.”

❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥

“We are written in blood. Born for each other. And not even the Gods can tear us apart.”

“Gods alive, I need more. Can you take another?”

Rung by rung 🥵❤️‍🔥🪭

“There’s an urge inside of me. I can’t think. I just want. And your touch…it does things to me. Begs me to take, I’ll take too much.”

“You can’t take too much. Not when I’m giving myself freely. All of me. For you, Zevander. Take from me. Take what you need, I am yours.”

“Every breath. Every heartbeat. Every prayer you whisper to the Gods. You belong to me, A’miszhla [my love].”

“His hands swiped mine up and pressed them to his chest, where, beneath all that iron and ruin, his fragile heart beat against my palm.”

After learning all Zevander has been through, that line hit me hard.

“I can’t find peace without your touch”

“Let me give you what you need”

No way is that how General Loyce gets taken out…I demand more drama and spectacle. I’d bet my life she shows back up…

Man these ppl are evil…Sacton Crain got his, along with the stupid town folk (the blind religious ignorance fueling cruelty is infuriating). But Loyce? Ugh, when Loyce gets hers…that will be the most gratifying. What an evil character she is.

Yasss…gimme that healing story arc!

“Being with her was the first time Zevander had known pleasure through pain. The first time someone had ever given without taking from him.”

“Zevander watched his moon witch as she slept”

1) I love the possessiveness
2) The moon witch nickname is cute as shit

Ok, I felt like this story dragged a bit in the first half but things are connecting and picking up. I’m impressed by and like the way she’s alternating between past and present. The past storyline immediately impacts the subsequent present chapter, so you feel an immediate payoff.
