“no.” i set down my fork, unable to stomach the rest of my meal. “there’s nobody”
soo the pen is represented macon who of course she thought about when cory asked if there was anyone. and she lost her appetite at the thought of choosing macon when he rejected her so brutally. ok love the symbolism
