Read Chapter 17: The Three Forms of Worship. Alright I guess. Lot of random ancient explanations of natural phenomena (pre-science). Bit more on how the gunas work.

Read an appendix by Mohandas Ghandi. Talks about the timeless nature of the text, and how its main lesson is the renunciation of the fruits of action. I liked the afterword, even though I'm not a huge fan of Ghandi. Exam on this text tomorrow.

Read Chapter 14: The Three gunas. Surprised how late in the text these get brought up, Doctor Green was explaining them at length in seemingly every other lecture. I like Kristna’s explanation of them better but I’m glad I have the lecture notes going into this chapter.

Read Chapter 13: The Field & its Knower. Not a huge fan of this one, but basically just about the oneness of everything and how to clear your mind again.

Read Chapter 11: The Cosmic Vision. Theophany of Kristna before Arjuna. Kinda pissed I only read this after lecture, this is pretty awesome. Then again I wouldn’t really know what was going on if I hadn’t gone before. Also it’s a shame that the metric shift in this chapter isn’t preserved in the translation.

Read chapter 10: Divine Manifestations. Forgot to read this before lecture today. Oh well. Relatively boring chapter of Kristna just listing what he is and isn't. I feel like I'm not reading into this book enough when I sit in lecture then again everything Doctor Greene talks about is random historical/background knowledge I wouldn't know.

Read Chapter 9: The Secret of Life. How to worship Krisna, piety, etc. I’m unapologetically looking at this through a Catholic lens.
