@Sandra it was!!! i think i just got way too interested in what was going to happen next and grew to love the mc (and some other characters) so much that i couldn't even pay attention to the writing. however i do wish i'd checked the trigger warnings just to be prepared cause i was super surprised to see some scenes play out the way they did
plus the characters might be teens (i think) but the situations they're dealing with aren't really aimed towards the younger audience at all so i guess i was pretty surprised to see that it's a lot more mature than i thought it'd be,,,
