Everything is rising on convenience.
Her brother is her twin. And apparently they all look the same, so why would nobody notice her at all? Especially the MMC or the king??
It’s convenience plot armor that’s been worn throughout the entire book and I can’t fathom how anybody enjoys it

?????? So now he knows the inventor is her dad a she’s just okay with that??? This close to their breaking them out “plan”? I can’t keep ignoring the stupidity of this book in order to advance with this stupid fucking plot

Oh! And he doesn’t care! Okay! Wtf man anything but causing conflict. Wouldn’t want anything but a linear story. An interesting hiccup in the story would be horrible.

No.way. He finds out about her blood because she cries in the orchard about her dead mouse and more animals flock around her. I’m sobbing this is so cringe 😭😭

The writing severely lacks descriptions of settings

Slow burn my ass. This is their 4th encounter and they’re already making out and asking if they want each other lmao okay

We should have set up that the MMC and his sister were already close for a reason. We started with the mother pushing the MMC to be nicer to her and him disliking her. It doesn’t make sense that he is now so emotionally invested in her future and well being.

Everything has so much promise but the structuring and execution holds it back severely

I think this would have been better if it had been structured differently. Mostly, if we didn’t get insights from the father’s POV and Twen or whatever her name is didn’t know her father was at the palace. She would have left to try and find him, landing in the palace in the long haul, ans even finds out her is also there. The way it is right now, things just happen and fall into her lap. No effort whatsoever

I think the writing (and lack of depth) combined with the odd pacing is what prevents me from immersing myself in the story. The writing is sort of surface level, especially when it comes to the FMC’s chapters.
