its a shame the criticism of Congo colonialism derives entirely from how inefficient and greedy the invaders are in terms of work effort and wanting to make a fortune, and not much to do with how terrible it is to invade another country and enslave their people in general as a concept.
like "oh man, they treat the slaves poorly so they can't do work well!" and not "oh man they enslave and beat them!"
