Ollie tells David to follow him. They found kids that were hung. Amanda and David hook up in the managers office. Miller wants to get out of there with David. David is worried after what happened to Norton. Miller expresses he wants to get out and is pretty worried about Mrs. Carmody. Miller wants to try to get to the drug store first.

A man is cooking for people, but nobody is really eating. One of the creatures which I like a bird makes it through. Eventually someone kills it, but everyone is scared and on edge. Billy wants to go home and knows that he isn’t okay. David tries to keep him okay. Ollie asks David to come with him. Amanda volunteers to watch Billy.

The residents all wrestle with what’s happening outside. Many groups form like flat earthers and Mrs. Carmody has a group too. Defenses are created in the store as well. Norton and the others decide to go outside despite the mist. A scream emerges from the mist saying help.

David finds Norton to tell him about what’s going on. Others are told about what’s happened as well. Mrs. Carmody goes crazy telling everyone it’s death. Norton thinks it’s a lie to which others tells him it’s not. The main group goes back through the doors and everyone’s eyes are fixated on one thing. There seems to be a problem.

David leaves where is in the store to go get something for Billy to keep him warm. He runs into Ollie and Norm. They are in the generator room trying to get it back on. As time passes the mist gets into the room and starts taking over. A squid like creature gets in and takes Norm away. Ollie and David are conflicted on whether to tell people what’s happening.

Billy and David look after the remains of the storm. Trees are down and power lines are out. It’s very hot outside as well. They check out more and see a mist is forming. Brent Norton tags along with David and Billy to go to the store in town. Steff gives them a grocery list. The lines were down so David couldn’t call Steff.

Steff, Billy and David are in the middle of a heat wave in the Maine region. They live on Long lake and a big storm happens. It’s pretty bad and the insurance companies are gonna get a lot of calls. David comforts Steff and Billy through it all.
