I’ve been cracking down on the reasons why I tend to not enjoy when bonds or mate connections are introduced into stories. And a big factor for that is as soon as the connection is revealed, we need to be reminded about it every single time. They never use each other’s names anymore and It’s always just “I need to go to my mate” or “my soul bonded is here” or “he told me through the bond” etc.

No because whilst I literally feel nothing for Torj and Wren, they are the MMC‘s and this is THEIR story. Whilst every agonising minute of sitting through this has been worth it because I got to see Thea and Wilder get married, this is not their book they’ve had four books. So when you tell me that the MMC’s of this book secretly got married off page but T/W have an on page wedding. WTF is that? Like!!?
