I was REALLY not expecting the Holy Tetrea plot twist moment. I am really loving that there are not any clear good/evil “sides” in this story. Both sides have done immense wrong but have also been immensely wronged. The fey creatures and monsters don’t deserve that and neither does Lastleaf but he’s also fucking evil! And our main characters are just a complete third party watching it unfold.

Why is it that authors always make a group of side characters cooler than the main ones? Vanguard is way cooler than Saga and good riddance Kallorek.
