3.1 The consumptive has come back… The Prince is dumb as rocks and I hate him too

Part II done. I had to reread the part about the 'urchins' and the 17-year-old consumptive, which reminded me why I put this book down in the first place. It makes no sense to me as to why the rich people all stopped in their tracks to hear out a coughing ruffian. But having moved past it now, I am again enjoying the book haha

I dont understand the prince at all, I dont think its “goodness” that makes him keep entertaining awful people. You can only let in so many people until you become a doormat
