I’m sad to say goodbye again.. leave the two goobers in their HEA. Im tempted to tell the author to give us more in her rewrite. Like orla’s note at the end!! Gah. I love them both so much. I also need to just unhook from the drip that is their toxifying and addicting relationship. Too much dopamine honestly. I need to go back to Wodehouse. That is a good Christian book with NO porn.

Coming to an end now… second read I still love this so much. Maybe more? Sections I was dreading like the wedding and the golf turned out not so bad or dragged out. And I can see the character progression more clearly this time around. I just love these two so so much. In fantasy land only, of course. lol. IICHY will be my Roman Empire forever.

I continue to be obsessed with Caleb and orla. Exasperated that Caleb (then later orla) completely ignore Jessica and max’s advice. WHY EVEN HAVE THESE SCENES. My poor goobers.

It’s kind of crazy how on re-read (not counting all the excepts I’ve reread) it still holds such narrative tension. Like you know the caleb all along but you’re still scared for his reaction, and you know they end up together but its still harrowing to get through post reveal then post wedding. Like any moment she could still OD and he could still go to jail lol. Really good writing in a v diff way haha.

It’s so twisted… I keep forgetting Caleb is the stalker and feel bad for her when she has to see Caleb even though it was Caleb all along anyway! It’s so good gah.
