forgor to mention but yesterday i read the intro and it was definitely an intriguing insight into Woolf's mental state in naming her friends after animals... as for the story, im midway through and its also again, interesting how the intro makes it out to be a parallel between women's plight in existing itself and to a dog. i can definitely see what Kate meant
