When I first saw this book at Waterstones two years ago, I knew I was going to like it. Why? I have absolutely no idea, but I still have that feeling.
Now, I've finally picked it up, and I really hope my instincts were right.

I have to put this book down for now because I'm honestly getting bored, and the name Lorenzo keeps taking me out of the story. I can't help but picture a modern Italian man every time I read it. We have Elara, an ancient Greek name, and an entire Greek inspired fantasy setting, only to suddenly throw Italian names into the mix. It just feels out of place and breaks the immersion for me.

I don't know... it is good, but it reads as YA and I find it hard to enjoy.
