Oh!!

I’m enjoying this one even more than the first book! It has so much more depth, and I’m very curious to see where this journey takes us this time. ✨

This book is such a pleasant journey~

My husband bought this for me because I fell into another reading slump (Strength of the Few I am looking at you...) and he wanted to pull me out of it. He doesn’t even read, so he went and chose a book entirely on his own. And honestly, knowing he picked it out for me makes it feel so dear to my heart I actually want to read it.
I’m already intrigued. I’m really liking it so far, it’s such a unique premise!

This turned into hate read.

I am so close to DNFing this book. I’m 35% in, 257 pages in and nothing of significance has happened. The important parts probably amount to 70 pages total. Every chapter, our Gary Stu has to prove himself, and he always does. It’s boring and ridiculous. I genuinely don’t care about reading an unnecessary chariot race.

I really enjoyed the beginning of this book. But because of Luceum’s POV, I’m tempted to DNF it. It’s so boring. Nothing happens, and it’s difficult to read because of their language barrier. I don’t think the author executed that part very well. I came to a Luceum chapter that’s 39 pages long, and I haven’t touched the book for three days. I’m currently struggling to push through because I just don’t care.

I don't care about Luceum, I really don't... It's so off. Like it doesn't belong in this book. I love Res and Obiteum tho... looking forward to each one.

Oh? Surprised by the direction the author went in with the sequel, but still very much intrigued.

I am beyond excited.

Less than 200 pages left - what more is there to tell? It’s not a boring book, it definitely picks up the pace, but where is all of this going?

I am getting tired reading this now. The last 100 pages are a drag. But I’m very hopeful that it will pick up the pace again.

This is so bad, omg. I would only read this if I were trapped on a deserted island with absolutely nothing else to do. Not even a hate read - just a genuinely boring read.

It's been years since I've cried reading a book. This damn book... 246 pages and no boredom, which is rarity. 246 pages and I knew from the start this is going to be my favorite book ever.

Oh God... I really love Sophie, her books are my guilty pleasure, but this one so far us awful. The main character is stupid, naive, pathetic and TOXIC. Every character in this book is toxic, unlikeable. I will finish this because I love Sophie and I hope this gets better vut honestly I don't see how...

I have no idea what this book is about and I never read anything by this author before, but I heard a lot of great things about this book and author as well, so I have high expectations.

This is so much better than the previous one. Still, I really want this to be the last book in the series.

But it is funny, charming and strange a bit (I'll explain it later in my full review).
