I have always like Mariana's book but the last couple felt super repetitive. Like recycled stories but with new sports. I was worried this one would be too - it is still a sport "romance" (eventually) but I am liking where it is going. I ALSO recall why I feel her writing can be repetitive - the over the top "he is so beautiful" "he is the most handsome person in the world" "those beautiful green eyes" are CONSTANT.
