A couple of things I really respect about this author's writing:
- Having to write the same thing over and over yet avoiding it sounding boring/ tedious and keeping me motivated enough to want to double check the content
- That the perspective is written by a character whose age is young enough that we know he'd be prone to boredom, particularly of a condition like his (this was probably a well reasoned choice)
