In my review the first time I read this, I said the first half was so boring, and I am looking back on that sentiment now with such bewilderment, like, what? There is so much that happens in the first half. I can’t even remember what’s supposed to happen in the second half. I’m bamboozled.

They’re showing the 1995 adaptation at the library this Thursday, so naturally I have to reread the whole thing by then so that I can judge. Curious to see if I’ll like this one more upon reread considering I had a change of heart upon my reread of Sense and Sensibility. We’ll see!
