BOOK 2. Book 2. All of those names. Homer, my man or collection of folks, how did you remember all of these names? I am sick to my stomach having to read all of that. It is pretty cool to think that this was the Greek’ individual cities having their moment of fame in a ballad sang out loud, but nobody sang to me so FREAK THEM ALL.

I originally started the Odyssey first, but was lost because I realized that the Iliad is the first one so starting now. The poems aren’t too bad to read since I’m reading it out loud so I’m getting the flow better, but all of these Greek names for people and cities are tripping me up.
