This book tried to redeem itself and failed. Not only did it slut shame everyone, but there were so many untrue stereotypes. It was just a hot mess. Truth be told, stereotypes are funny sometimes and we can joke about them; this character meant them, which makes all the difference. Sure she tries to turn it around, but unnecessary drama is added at that point which ruins it. I'm so done with this.

"I pull my mirror from my small over-the-shoulder purse, check my garish makeup—red lips, smoky eye shadow, and a pound of mascara. Without my glasses, I look the part. No brains. Just a nice college girl out for a dirty night of fun and hookups." Wow. This bitch. Yes, every woman who wears makeup must automatically be dumb. Totally makes sense.

"Tonight is like any other science project. I must not be nervous. I have set out with a hypothesis that dressing very sexy will attract a shallow man like Hunter—who I will thus refer to as “Evil Lab Rat” that only thinks with his penis. My clothing will tell evil Lab Rat that he and I are the same shallow species of creatures who only wish to fornicate."

Is this book trying to see how many stereotypes it can cram into a page?!WTF. All it has done is win an award for the biggest pile of shit I've read this year and I have only read the first chapter. No, that is not how science works. Men who play sports are not dumb apes. For someone who claims to be smart, MC acts and thinks like a polar opposite.
