Confession does not wipe out the sin. I had free will and chose to do wrong instead of doing right. I cannot escape the consequences. I must put it right. I am only cheating myself by thinking I can say or convince myself some magic formula to gain escape. I must reap what I have sown, that is the Law

Is it possible to live a perfect life? No, it is not possible, you can try. All the efforts build my character. If I was never angry, never bitter, never lost my temper, I would cease to be human. The Law is here to develop my spirit, and it never stops growing, whether in the physical world or spiritual world.

If I can raise up one soul, if I can bring light to one who is in darkness, if I can free one from the prison-house of ignorance, if I can give food to those who are hungry and water to those who are thirsty, I can bring peace instead of war, I am serving the Great Spirit.

Will begin to understand that the unity of the spirit is greater than the unity of physical things. Ayako is closer now than she could ever be in the physical world. It is so true, I feel that she is always so close.

Ties of spirit endures forever. The dead do not leave us, they pass through a door and for them it is a great release. I know in my heart that Ayako is so happy.

Continued emphasis on not being selfish and serving others to heighten our spiritual path and every positive thought does not go wasted.

The chapter on life in the beyond is intriguing and makes me think that Ayako must be enjoying herself and looking over us at the same time.

Few pages on healing is so intriguing. Disease can come from physical, mental and spiritual. Different mental and spiritual states affect differently. Jealousy can affect the liver. Very similar concept to "feed you body feed your soul."

All life belongs to the Great Spirit and no one must take it. Meaning people should not kill, even animals for food.

Silver birch law, perfect love casteth out fear.

Love how the book is structured. Starts with the editors note or theme. Then the teachings followed by questions. The teaching is so pure in Barrie and not judgmental. I will have so much to gain from this book. Page 42 said disease is not initiated by the spirit guides ( I was thinking maybe cancer was a way to wake up the human race), it was man made and self inflicted....
