Ok...the pace of this is really slow. Thus far, I liked the characters of book 1 a lot better. Hugo is hard to read and Georgette is rather hard to like. I'm still interested in how Romain will have this story play out.

I'm not too far in yet, but I like the storytelling. Georgette and Hugo are so different but I can already see how their strengths will mesh well.
